Shin & Kim sponsored the welcoming reception for the 21st Annual Conference of the IAKL (International Association of Korean Lawyers). The reception was held at Shin & Kim’s offices in State Tower Namsan, and was a golden opportunity for more than 300 lawyers and guests from around the world to socialize with other attendees and make new contacts before the commencement of the Conference.
At the Conference, which was held at Korea University from September 26 to 28, 2003, Yong-Won Choi, the representative partner of Shin & Kim’s Beijing office, gave a presentation entitled “International Law Firm Management: Strategies for Opening, Building, and Managing a Successful International Office”, and Myong-Hyon Brandon Ryu, a senior foreign attorney of Shin & Kim, gave a presentation entitled “Corporate/ M&A: Inbound & Outbound Private Equity Activities in Korea”.
