Hyo Jong Choi of Shin & Kim participated as a panelist at the Experts Conference on the Corporate Restructuring Promotion Act (the “CRPA”) held at Ewha Womans University Law School on February 28, 2014, which was organized by the Insolvency Law Society and the Insolvency Law Research Center at Ewha Woman’s University.
The CRPA was re-enacted on January 1, 2014 with a two-year effective period. Many experts in Korea and from abroad participated in the Conference and discussed the “Current Status and Future of the CRPA” in the first session and the “Major Issues of the CRPA” in the second session. Mr. Choi took part in the panel discussion in the second session, providing his first-hand experience accounts of the “Current Status and Future of the CRPA”.
