Shin & Kim’s Asset Management Team Holds Seminar on Family & Law: Prenuptial Agreements and Family Business Succession


The Asset Management Team of Shin & Kim held a seminar on “Family & Law: Prenuptial Agreements and Family Business Succession” on July 7, 2014.

The seminar proceeded in two sessions. At Session I, Junghee Cho presented on the following topics: pre-nuptial agreements in other countries; domestic perception of pre-nuptial agreements; and demand and need for pre-nuptial agreements. At Session II, Hyeon-Jin Kim presented on the following topics: the concept and legitimacy of family business succession and legal considerations; Management Buy-Outs (MBO); and tax support for family business succession and gift and income tax rates (comprehensive taxation principle).
