Shin & Kim LLC has enjoyed the great year of 2020 winning the “Dealmaker of the Year”, the “Woman Lawyer of the Year” and the “Construction and Real Estate Law Firm of the Year” at ALB Korea Law Awards 2020 held on November 12, 2020.

Jae Young Chang, who won the “Dealmaker of the Year” award this year, successfully closes more than 20 deals each year and has handled various deals including building holding companies for several affiliates, comprehensive share swap, corporate restructuring through spin-off and merger and structured M&A deals such as privatization of Woori Finance Holdings.

Helen Park (Hyunju Park), a senior foreign attorney at Shin & Kim, has won the “Foreign Lawyer of the Year award” this year while she won the “Woman Lawyer of the Year” in 2019. 

Additionally, Shin & Kim has won the Law Firm of the Year for the practice area of Construction and Real Estates for two consecutive years, continuing its strength in the field of real estates.

The ALB Korea Law Awards is hosted annually by Asian Legal Business (ALB), one of the world’s most influential legal magazines, and a group of expert panels from market-leading law schools, law firms and law associations conduct a closed candidate evaluation to determine the winners.
