Shin & Kim LLC appoints Kyung Don Lee, Ghyo-Sun Park, and Jin-Ho Jeong as Honorary Managing Partners

In a recent partners’ meeting, Shin & Kim LLC has appointed Kyung Don Lee, Ghyo-Sun Park, and Jin-Ho Jeong as honorary managing partners of the firm.

The appointments of the honorary managing partners were carried out in line with the generational shift of the Managing Partner and the members of the Management Committee. By adding three young honorary managing partners in their 50s, Shin & Kim is expecting to add vitality to the firm’s external activities, etc.  

Mr. Kyung Don Lee joined the firm in 1992 after graduating as one of the 18th class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. He currently serves as a member of the firm’s Management Committee and as the head of the Overseas Group. As an attorney specializing in real estate and real estate financing, he has advised on numerous real estate transactions including the acquisition of the Gangnam Finance Center and the development project for IFC Seoul in Yoido, Seoul.

Mr. Ghyo-Sun Park, who specializes in intellectual property and products liability litigation, is well-known in Korea as the first lawyer for tobacco litigation. He joined the firm in 1992 after graduating as one of the 20th class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute, and currently leads the IP Practice Group. He also serves as the chairman of the Korea Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (KIPLA).

Mr. Jin-Ho Jeong, a graduate of the 20th class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute, joined the firm in 2010 after serving as a judge at the Busan District Court, the Seoul District Court, the Seoul High Court, and the Seoul Central District Court, and as a chief judge at the Seoul Eastern District Court. He specializes in securities and finance disputes and currently serves as a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
