Shin & Kim LLC (“Shin & Kim) Received the “Best M&A Seller” and “Best M&A Buyer” Awards during the 2023 Korea Capital Markets Thebell League Table Awards held at The Plaza Hotel in Seoul on January 27, 2023.
Shin & Kim received the “Best M&A Seller” for its legal advisory services in the sale of SKC’s PET film business division. Shin & Kim was recognized for its successful role as a legal partner to SKC in establishing an eco-friendly business structure with the focus on rechargeable battery and semiconductors and building the foundation for new growth momentum.
Shin & Kim was also selected as the winner of the “Best M&A Buyer” after providing successful legal advice on the purchase of TES by SK Ecoplant. The acquisition of TES, a Singapore-based company specialized in global electric and electronic waste, is highly significant as it was SK Ecoplant’s first successful overseas eco-friendly M&A.
