Jae Min Jeon

Jae Min Jeon is a partner at Shin & Kim’s International Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
Mr. Jeon has represented major corporate clients across a wide range of industries in arbitration and multi-jurisdictional court proceedings, with a particular focus on disputes relating to cross-border M&A transactions and in-bound and outbound investments.
Prior to joining Shin & Kim, Mr. Jeon served as a public-service judge advocate at the Ministry of Justice for three years and represented the Korean government in civil and administrative court proceedings. Mr. Jeon also completed an LL.M. at Stanford University and worked as an international associate in the Hong Kong office of Linklaters.
Mr. Jeon is listed on the KCAB’s Panel of International Arbitrators. He was also a Director of International Affairs at the Seoul Bar Association (2017-2018).
Korea Law Awards has nominated Mr. Jeon as a “Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year” in 2023. His written and oral advocacy has been described as “one of the finest, if not the finest, in Korea” by Chambers Asia Pacific (2024). Mr. Jeon has also been noted for his “exceptional client service”, “a sharp legal mind” and as “one of the pre-eminent practitioners in Korea” by The Legal 500 (2024).
