Mr. Byung Tae Kim is a partner at Shin & Kim. His main areas of practice include mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring and general corporate transactions, and he has been involved in many significant cross-border investments and major mergers & acquisitions.

Mr. Kim has written extensively and conducted research on topics related to securities and M&A law, and corporate law.

Mr. Kim has been providing legal advice on restructuring and conversion to a holdings company for listed companies and financial companies, such as the split and merger of Woori Financial Group, and on large-scale M&A and reorganization, such as the sale of Asiana Airlines.
