Introduction

Ms. Jae-Ha Lee is a partner at Shin & Kim. Ms. Lee’s main areas of practice include general corporate transactions, real estate investment & financing and litigation specializing in corporate rehabilitation, bankruptcy, workout and restructuring.

Ms. Lee also specializes in real estate investment, real estate finance, and other general corporate matters. In particular, she has represented rehabilitation/bankruptcy companies, creditors, acquirers, etc. in a number of rehabilitation, bankruptcy and workout proceedings and has extensive experience advising on transactions such as M&A and asset transfer in rehabilitation proceedings, etc. In addition, Ms. Lee has represented rehabilitation/bankruptcy companies, creditors, acquirers, etc. in various lawsuits arising out of rehabilitation, insolvency, and workout proceedings.

Ms. Lee graduated from Seoul National University in 2010 with a undergraduate degree in communication and worked at the marketing department of SK Telecom. Ms. Lee joined Shin & Kim in 2015 after she graduated from Seoul National University School of Law. Ms. Lee has represented rehabilitation companies/bankruptcy trustees as well as creditors in many corporate reorganization, corporate rehabilitation, bankruptcy proceedings, mergers & acquisitions, asset transfers and workout proceedings, such as STX Heavy Industries, Gunchang Transportation, Gyeonggi Tourism Development, Lake Hills-Suncheon Country Club. In addition, she has comprehensive experience in rehabilitation and bankruptcy proceedings including KT Engcore, STX Heavy Industries and Uijeongbu Light Rail Co., Ltd.

Ms. Lee has participated as a speaker or panelist in numerous domestic and international seminars on legal issues in insolvency and corporate restructuring and has been recognized as a Leading Individual in the field of Restructuring and Insolvency by international publications such as IFLR 1000 and Asialaw Profiles.
