
Dong-Uk Shin

Mr. Dong-Uk Shin is a partner of Shin & Kim, who specializes in real estate & construction, litigation & arbitration, as well as all areas of business crime, including professional regulation & discipline. He also advises on veterans-related issues.
Prior to joining Shin & Kim and for nearly 21 years, Mr. Shin served as a military judge, prosecutor, and as a judicial officer in various capacities within the Korean government, including Ministry of National Defense, Republic of Korea Navy, Korea Naval Operations Command, Jeju Defense Command, among others.
Currently, Mr. Shin is also an adjunct professor at Kwangwoon University’s Graduate School of Legal Affairs in Construction. He has also been appointed to the Construction Management Association of Korea’s (Korea CM Association or “CMAK”) performance review/advisory board. Mr. Shin is also serving as a member of the Ministry of Defense Veterans Review Committee.
