Mr. Won Lee is a partner at Shin & Kim. Mr. Lee’s main practice areas include civil and commercial litigation related to trusts, M&As, financial derivatives, civil execution, preservative measures, and corporate and white-collar criminal cases.
Mr. Lee started his legal career as a judge at Seoul Central District Court and later served as a professor at the Judicial Research & Training Institute, as a research judge at the Supreme Court, and as a presiding judge at Seoul Central District Court. He has been a partner at Shin & Kim since March, 2021.
Mr. Lee has extensive and practical experience not only with civil and commercial litigation but also with criminal litigation. He served at the bench dedicated to the appeal of preliminary injunction and the bench dedicated to commercial affairs at Seoul High Court, and served as a dedicated presiding research judge and as a chief research judge of civil division at the Supreme Court, and served as a judge dedicated to the issuance of warrants and chief justice of the sole criminal bench at Changwon District Court and Seoul Northern District Court.
