Introduction

Sangmyoung Shin is a partner at Shin & Kim. He practices in energy and finance law areas, with a focus on project finance, banking and finance, and energy.

As a member of the firm’s project and energy practices, his experience includes the representation of financial institutions and borrowers in a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including project development, ECA-backed finance and corporate loan transactions. He has negotiated transactions in the United States, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Recently, Mr. Shin has also been actively working on offshore wind projects in Korea and diverse renewable energy projects around the world. In addition, he provides advice on various matters related to economic sanctions on Iran, Russia, Myanmar and North Korea, etc.

He is highly respected by his peers and widely praised by clients.
