Mr. Giseop Cheon is an associate at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of Construction & Real Estate Litigation and Advisory, Family & Inheritance Disputes, and General Criminal Defense.

Mr. Cheon graduated with honors from Seoul National University, where he obtained both a B.A. in Economics and a Juris Doctor. Prior to joining Shin & Kim, he served as a law clerk at the Korean courts, handling numerous appellate cases.

His current practice is centered on complex litigation and advisory matters in the construction and real estate sector. He has extensive experience in cases involving disputes over reconstruction and redevelopment, claims for construction payments and delay damages, pre-sale agreement litigation, and responses to administrative dispositions. He is an active member of the Construction and Urban Development Law Association. In addition to his primary focus, Mr. Cheon also handles a wide range of cases in family and inheritance law, as well as general civil and criminal matters.
