Daeyong Baek

Mr. Daeyong Baek is a partner at Shin & Kim. Mr. Baek advises clients across a broad range of complex regulatory, government and legislative affairs, and corporate matters, including virtual asset, AI, privacy, data security, energy and environment.
He is also known for his regulatory expertise – he has been asked by the Korean government to serve as an advisor/counselor to: the Korea Communications Commission; the Ministry of the Interior and Safety; the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and rural Affairs, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Environment, the Personal Information Protection Commission; the Ministry of Science and ICT; the Board of Audit and Inspection of Korea; and the National Assembly.
Mr. Baek received his bachelors, graduate, and doctorate degrees from Yonsei University, and also holds a LL.M. degree from Georgetown Law Center.
