As the head of Shin & Kim’s Trade Remedies Group, Mr. Jeong-Soo Kang is one of Korea’s leading experts in trade remedies who has devoted himself to trade remedies-related affairs since the mid-1990s.

Mr. Kang has successfully responded to anti-dumping investigations launched by various foreign trade-remedies authorities of the US, Canada, Australia, the EU, China, Japan, Turkey, Russia, Malaysia, Mexico, Brazil, India, Indonesia, etc. on behalf of multiple producers in domestic infrastructure industries, including steel-making, paper-manufacturing, textile and shipbuilding industries and also successfully completed the processes of filing of application for anti-dumping investigation with the Korea Trade Commission(KTC) on behalf of various small and medium-sized companies from Korea. Furthermore, he has extensive experience and expertise in the fields of countervailing duties, TBR and safeguard investigation.

Mr. Kang has contributed to the development of the Korean trade remedies systems by performing a number of research services commissioned by the KTC and received a commendation of the Minister of Knowledge Economy in 2007 in recognition of such contribution.
