Mr. Min Kim is a partner at Shin & Kim and his main practice areas include filing requests for correction, tax advisory services, tax audit response, tax litigations and tribunals.
After obtaining his lawyer's qualification, Mr. Kim had a number of experiences at tax department of EY Hanyoung, which had conducted tax advisory services for domestic and foreign corporations and family business owners. Over the past decade, as the only lawyer and team leader who has worked in all major positions of NTS tax resource·investigation·litigation bureau, he has provided differentiated solutions based on constant research while dealing with major cases in the field of international tax and inheritance and gift tax.
In particular, Mr. Kim was in charge of the tax resource management of overseas assets such as foreign financial account, overseas real estate, overseas Subsidiary, overseas trust, and overseas stock of residents and domestic corporations at NTS. From major taxation issues of offshore tax evasion, overseas inheritance and gift, to responding to impose fines for non-filing, Mr. Kim has gained higher expertise than anyone else in the overall related work.
