On October 20, 2015, Shin & Kim and the Korea Housing Association (KHA) held a joint seminar entitled “Interpretation of and Suggestions for Improvement of Warranty Liability under Current Laws.”
The seminar, marking its fourth year, garnered great interest and participation from executives and employees of Korean construction companies, offering timely legal information on current housing industry related issues and laws identified by the Construction ∙ Real Estate ∙ PF Practice Group of Shin & Kim.
Jae-Yun Yun, a senior managing partner of Shin & Kim and the chairperson of the Korean Society of Construction Legal Affairs, gave a presentation on the in-depth review and analysis of the current warranty liability regulations applicable to shared housing and suggestions for legislative measures to counter warranty liability issues which remain unresolved by the current warranty liability provisions of the Act on the Ownership and Management of Aggregate Buildings amended in 2012.
