Mr. Dae Kun Jang is actively working as a partner in the finance sector, advising financial institutions and private equity funds in Korea and overseas.

Since 2013, Mr. Chang has gained extensive experience by advising various financial institutions and private equity funds to successfully lead transactions in acquisition finance, corporate finance, project finance, and real estate finance at home and abroad. Also, he advised on several offshore real estate investments, fund-of-fund investments, and more generally, on the establishment and operation of several private equity funds.

Mr. Jang graduated from the College of Law, Seoul National University, and completed the master’s degree course at the School of Law, Seoul National University. He went on to obtain a master's degree in executive business administration (EMBA) from the Graduate School of Business, Seoul National University, and passed the Korean bar exam as the 39th class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. Mr. Jang worked as a judge advocate before joining Shin & Kim, and was dispatched to Macquarie Asset Management Co., Ltd. as a corporate lawyer in 2015.

Mr. Jang has been writing and presenting at numerous seminars in the field of acquisition finance, and in recognition of his outstanding performance, he was nominated as a “Leading Lawyer” in the IFLR1000 Banking and Finance category in 2022 and 2023 consecutively.
