Mr. Dong-Hwa Baek is a senior foreign attorney (Russia) at Shin & Kim. His practice focuses on Russia and CIS-related business.

Through his hands on experience in the CIS countries, Mr. Dong-Hwa Baek, provides legal advice on foreign investments, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, intellectual property rights, and corporate disputes of Korean companies in the CIS countries.

Mr. Baek earned his bachelor’s degree in international law from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Russia, and his Master of Laws in Russian Corporate Law from the Moscow State Law Academy before working as an in-house attorney at the Russian subsidiary of a large Korean corporation. Since 2018, Mr. Baek has served as the Vice President of Eurasia 21, an incorporated association under the Ministry of State Affairs of Korea, as an active participant in Eurasian business insight seminars for Korean companies interested in the CIS countries.
