Mr. Jung Jae Won is a partner at Shin & Kim and Senior Representative of Shin & Kim’s Beijing Office. Mr. Won’s main areas of practice include China related matters such as M&A and investment between China and Korea, real estate, labor/employment and general corporate matters.

Mr. Won graduated from Sungkyunkwan University College of Law, holds a Master of Laws degree from Peking University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Sungkyunkwan University Business School, and completed the 34th class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. Before joining Shin & Kim, he served as a military judge advocate.

At Shin & Kim, Mr. Won has gained extensive experience in M&A, real estate, and labor and employment. Since 2012, he has managed the firm’s Chinese business and handled various investment and dispute matters between Korean and Chinese companies, accumulating over a decade of experience in this area. He is particularly renowned for his expertise in China-Korea M&A and joint ventures and is committed to providing Korean clients with realistic solutions and alternatives based on local conditions in China.
