Mr. Geun-Bae Seok is a partner at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of fair trade and compliance.
He handles fair trade issues, including compliance matters, cartel issues, abuse of dominant market position, unfair trade practices, unfair support practices (including large-scale internal transactions within conglomerates), as well as matters under the Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act, Fair Franchise Transactions Act, Fair Transactions in Large Retail Business Act, Fair Labeling and Advertising Act, and Electronic Commerce Consumer Protection Act.
Furthermore, regarding corporate compliance work, which has recently grown in importance, he serves as Deputy Director of Shin & Kim’s Compliance Center, where he provides compliance training and support, compliance reviews, and the establishment and operation of compliance programs.
