概观
Annie Ahn is a foreign attorney at Shin & Kim. Annie’s main practice areas include antitrust and competition, information and communications technology, privacy and data protection, and legislative and government affairs.
Annie has worked with global IT, automobile, and shipping companies in investigation and litigation related to the Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act. She has also helped global companies with merger filings for major M&A transactions in industrial gas, silicon, optical film, and beverage industries. Annie also works with global companies on many cases related to the Telecommunications Business Act, the Personal Information Protection Act, the Information and Communications Network Act, the Credit Information Act, and the Location Information Act.
Prior to joining Shin & Kim, Annie clerked for the Honorable Richard H. Kyle at the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. She was also a fellow at the Housing Justice Center in Minnesota, where she helped file a class action lawsuit to preserve affordable housing units, which reached a successful settlement.
Annie lived in Silicon Valley, California from second grade of elementary school to sophomore year of high school. At Ewha Womans University, she majored in international studies and graduated first in her class. She earned her J.D. at the University of Minnesota Law School, where she was the Managing Editor of the Minnesota Law Review.
