Mr. Inbae Jung is an associate in the Tax Group of Shin & Kim, where his practice includes tax and customs counseling and appeals, family law and inheritance counseling, and civil and criminal litigation defense in tax and accounting.

After passing the CPA exam in 2009, Mr. Jung worked in the FSO Tax Department of Ernst & Young, where he provided tax reconciliation, tax audit defense, tax accounting analysis, and tax appeals to major financial institutions in Korea and abroad.

• Represented a local government in a tax appeal to overturn tobacco excise tax and other taxes
• Represented Foundation G in a tax appeal to overturn additional taxes
• Represented Corporation S in a tax appeal to overturn a corporate tax collection order
• Represented Company K in a tax appeal to overturn the rejection of the correction of an acquisition tax

• Advised Company V on investigation defense and catch-all controls for violations of the Foreign Trade Act
• Advised Korean SMEs on their management succession processes
• Advised clients on inheritance and wills and represented them in cases involving invalidity of wills, division of inheritance, and return of the forced share of inheritance, etc.
• Represented business executives and other industrialists in cases involving their divorce and division of property
