Mr. Chang-Weon Rhee is a partner at Shin & Kim with over 30 years of experience.

Mr. Rhee focuses his practice primarily on general corporate matters and M&A, compliance and regulatory matters, investments, restructuring, securities & other financial transactions, as well as representing some of the largest corporations on civil and criminal business litigation. His strong track record includes the successful handling of many high-profile international M&A transactions as well as civil & criminal cases.

From March 2013 to March 2020, Mr. Rhee served as the general counsel of Citibank Korea, where he oversaw various legal and regulatory matters, such as the Financial Supervisory Service (“FSS”) and the Korea Fair Trade Commission (“KFTC”) investigations, disputes relating to the sale of financial investment products, complex labor & employment issues, and the protection of credit and personal information-related issues, among others.
