Shin & Kim (with Blake Dawson and Larrain y Asociados) has advised LG International in respect of the acquisition of a 10 per cent interest in GeoPark’s oil and gas exploration and production blocks in Chile, including the Fell block which has been producing 7,000 barrels of petroleum and gas per day since 2006. The share purchase agreement was executed on 20 May 2011.
Byung Tae Kim, Young-Jae Cho and David H Yang led the transaction.
