Shin & Kim’s Woong-Soon Song was appointed as a member of the Mediation Committee for Creditor Financial Institutions. The Committee plays a significant role in mediating different opinions among creditor financial institutions during the restructuring process and adjusting the purchase price and conditions if a creditor objects to any decision of creditors and asks to purchase bonds.
In addition, Mr. Song was appointed as the president of the Korean Securities Law Association. He will lead the organization for two years, until February 2011.
Mr. Song continues to serve the public with his specialty in securities and finance, as a member of the Securities and Futures Commission, as an advisor member of the Presidential Council on National Competitiveness in the financial regulatory reform, and as a member of the Mediation Committee for Creditor Financial Institutions.
