Shin & Kim co-sponsored the 12th Fi-Tick Tax Seminar, held from October 24 to 25, with a number of major law and accounting firms. This event was attended by about 200 tax attorneys and specialists, accounting professionals and representatives of various businesses.
Shin & Kim’s senior accountant, In-Hwa Chung, gave a presentation entitled “Taxpayer’s Wish List: Ideas for Improving the Korean Tax Regime”. Jong-Chae Jung of Shin & Kim gave a presentation entitled “Dialogue with Korean Tax Authorities”, and In-Suk Hwang of Shin & Kim also gave a presentation entitled “Recent Supreme Court Case on Entity Classification & Treatment of Cayman Partnerships”.
