Eui-Yong Chung, former Ambassador to Geneva for the Republic of Korea, joined Shin & Kim as a senior advisor. Before joining the firm, Mr. Chung served as Co-Chairman of the ICAPP Standing Committee Partner, was a Member of the 17th National Assembly, Ambassador to Geneva, and Deputy Minister for Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Based on his long-standing career experience as a high ranking trade negotiator and diplomat of the Korean foreign ministry, Mr. Chung’s main areas of practice will be international trade and customs, including advice on international trade and customs, dispute resolution procedures under the WTO, and advisory services for clients entering the markets in China, Japan, Vietnam and other Asian countries.
