Dae-Yong Baek, a partner of Shin & Kim, was appointed as a member of the Apartment Defect Dispute Mediation Committee of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on January 30, 2015. The Apartment Defect Dispute Mediation Committee was established and operated pursuant to the Housing Act to mediate conflicts over housing defects between residents of multi-unit dwellings (apartments) which account for 72% of the entire residential properties nationwide.
