Ms. Ji Youn Kim is a partner at Shin & Kim. Ms. Kim focuses her practice on litigation and advice on finance and general corporate legal affairs.

Ms. Kim has litigated and provided advice for multiple domestic financial institutions (including securities companies, trust companies and banks), and she has successfully handled financial consumer-related lawsuits, including those on incomplete contracts, arbitrary and discretionary transactions, and capital transactions, as well as lawsuits between professional investors or financial institutions.

Ms. Kim has, based on her understanding of technologies and systems as a science and engineering major, addressed multiple cases related to IT companies and resolved and advised on disputes related to corporate and entertainment law.

Ms. Kim acquired her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering from Seoul National University and worked for the semiconductor division of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. She graduated from the Seoul National University School of Law and passed the 2nd national bar examination.
