Ms. Yookyung Lee is currently a partner at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of real estate transactions and development, real estate finance, offshore investment, foreign investment, fund establishment and management under the Capital Markets Act, and advisory services related to the Serious Accident Punishment Act against real estate management companies.

Ms. Lee is a member of a real estate alternative investment group which is ranked as Tier 1 by reputed evaluators every year, and mainly engages in real estate transactions and offshore investment services through collective investment schemes or REIT, and has also provided advice on domestic investment of foreign companies. In this process, she provided advice on financing, sales and lease transactions, and property management agreements related to various types of real estate, including landmark buildings, logistics centers, data centers, industrial complexes, and hotels in Korea and abroad. In addition, after the enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, she provides advice to asset management companies on the operation and management of real estate related to the Serious Accident Punishment Act.

Ms. Lee graduated Seoul National University’s College of Law, earned an LL.M from UC Berkeley School of Law, and completed the 39th term of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. Drawing on her expertise in real estate and finance, she has served as an external member of the National Pension Service’s Alternative Investment Committee since 2020. She was also recognized by Legal Times as a Rising Stars (2022) and a Leading Lawyer (2025) in Construction and Real Estate.
