Expert Advisor Jung-Han Kim received an MBA from the Dongguk University’s Graduate School of Business in 2005, and Ph.D. in Urban Engineering at Gachon University Graduate School of Engineering in 2014. Mr. Kim worked for Woori Bank for about 11 years and was in charge of the real estate investment PF, overseas real estate investment, and asset management of specific money trusts. He subsequently worked for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s Overseas Construction Policy Department and the Real Estate Industry Department. In that capacity, Mr. Kim was engaged in various tasks including the formation of a global infrastructure fund to support overseas construction industry, funding for feasibility studies, and establishment of the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation to support overseas construction business. Moreover, he also worked on policy matters on domestic REITs and license approvals for REITs and asset management companies. Through his career, Mr. Kim accumulated a wide range of experience in overseas construction and real estate investment in both the public and private sectors.
Since Mr. Kim joined Shin & Kim in 2020, he has been providing practical consultation services in the field of finance and real estate. He particularly focuses on licensing for asset management companies and investments/feasibility studies for overseas investment-based construction projects subject to the Real Estate Investment Company Act and the Overseas Construction Promotion Act.
