Mr. Kihyun Park is currently an associate at Shin & Kim’s Corporate Disputes Group, and his main areas of practice are general corporate litigation, including civil and criminal lawsuits related to companies, M&A and management right disputes, insurance, and bankruptcy and rehabilitation.

Since he joined Shin & Kim, Mr. Park has successfully led disputes and represented domestic and foreign companies in various industries. In particular, his practice focuses on litigation related to management right disputes and litigation related to real estates of major domestic companies, and he has accumulated abundant experience in the relevant fields.

Mr. Park graduated from the Department of Economics at Seoul National University and Seoul National University Law School and served as a naval advocate before joining Shin & Kim where he was in charge of state litigations, administrative litigations and legal aid.

• Represented shareholders and won the case of injunction to allow the exercise of voting rights against the company
• Represented client in criminal case concerning the violation of the Capital Markets Act in relation to violation of a company’s obligation to report bulk holdings
• Represented client in derivative suit filed against directors by the labor union in relation to the imposition of a penalty surcharge on a telecommunications service provider
• Represented client in case of provisional seizure of the right to claim the withdrawal of virtual assets with the virtual asset exchange as a third party debtor
