Mr. Jungwoo Lee is a partner at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of antitrust advisory and litigation, as well as corporate compliance matters.
After graduating from Sungnam High School in Seoul and Seoul National University Law School, Mr. Lee served at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office, Incheon District Prosecutors' Office, Daegu District Prosecutors' Office, Jeju District Prosecutors' Office, and Chuncheon District Prosecutors' Office from 2004 to 2019, where he was recognized for his expertise in anti-corruption, violent crime, and narcotics.
After being admitted to the bar in 2019, Mr. Lee joined SK Gas as a general counsel and later served as chief legal officer of SK Gas Co., Ltd and chief compliance officer of SK Discovery Co., Ltd, a holding company, where he oversaw legal matters related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), antitrust, compliance, and internal audit. He also gained experience and expertise in the construction and operation of LNG terminals and power plants, the LNG/LPG value chain, and renewable energy projects.
