Ms. Kyeonghwa Jeong is a partner at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of climate change & environment, administrative litigation, and government regulation.
Ms. Jeong has extensive experience in regulatory and policy matters across the environmental, ICT, and energy sectors, having served at major government ministries including the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. In particular, through her work at the Climate Economy Division of the Ministry of Environment and the Audit and Inspection Offices of the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, she has developed strong expertise in government policy formulation, administrative sanctions, and audit and inspection response.
Building on this practical experience, she advises corporations on a wide range of administrative and policy-related issues arising in the course of business operations, including regulatory risk assessment and compliance matters. With a deep understanding of both the public and private sectors, she provides practical and strategic advice to help clients respond proactively to changes in the regulatory environment.
