Joonill Lee is an associate at Shin & Kim LLC, where his primary practice areas include tax litigation and tax advisory.
Prior to joining Shin & Kim, Mr. Lee worked in the tax team at Yoon & Yang LLC, handling tax disputes, tax audit responses, and tax advisory matters. Since joining Shin & Kim’s Tax Group, he continues to handle a wide range of tax matters, including tax appeal cases, tax audit responses, international tax, and asset management advisory services.
Mr. Lee passed the 53rd Certified Tax Accountant Examination, graduated from Kyung Hee University Law School, and passed the 11th Korean Bar Examination. He participates in international taxation research and exchange through the International Fiscal Association, and also served as an editorial member for the ‘International Tax Case Studies’ (co-authored) where he published a paper on transfer pricing.
