尹泰畯

Mr. Tae Jun Yoon is an Advisor at Shin & Kim, and provides advisory services primarily in the areas of corporate finance and corporate governance.

Mr. Yoon received his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Seoul National University Graduate School of Business. He subsequently worked as a Research Fellow at Samsung Global Research (formerly Samsung Economic Research Institute), where he advised affiliated companies on the design of executive and employee compensation systems and financial policies, including shareholder returns and liquidity management. He also participated in strategic advisory projects on key corporate management issues, including corporate value enhancement plans (Value-Up Program), new business development, pricing structures, and ESG matters.

Mr. Yoon later served as Head of the Corporate Governance Research Institute at Conduit Co., Ltd., the operator of the shareholder engagement platform ACT, where he supported shareholder engagement activities by individual shareholders and institutional investors. He subsequently served as Team Leader of the Governance Division at the Korea ESG Research Institute, providing advisory services to the National Pension Service and other major Korean institutional investors on proxy voting, ESG, and responsible investment matters.

In particular, Mr. Yoon analyzed numerous shareholder meeting agenda items involving sharply conflicting interests among shareholders, including management control disputes, shareholder proposals, demergers, and mergers. He also oversaw revisions to proxy voting guidelines concerning limits on executive remuneration, dividends, and the acquisition and disposal of treasury shares.

Drawing on his practical experience in corporate finance and capital markets, Mr. Yoon currently provides advisory services on a broad range of governance matters faced by companies, including corporate governance, shareholder engagement, and responses to shareholder meetings.
