Seminars on M&A Practices in China

The Federation of Korean Industries and Shin & Kim jointly held a seminar on “M&A of Chinese companies” at the FKI Hall in Seoul on September 29. The seminar was led by Mr. Yong Won Choi, managing partner of Shin & Kim's Beijing office, Mr. Jong-Ho Song (specialized in investment in China and in corporate finance), and Ms. Hyun Ah Kim (specialized in antitrust matters). The topics included ▲ the impact of major laws and regulations essential to foreign investment through M&A ▲ M&A cases in various areas and recent trends ▲ the Anti-Monopoly Law which recently entered into effect ▲ Labor relations law ▲ Corporate Tax Law on M&As ▲ Listing the company listed on the stock market after an M&A transaction.
