Shin & Kim was ranked no. 1 among IPO advisers in Bloomberg’s league tables for Global Equity IPO Manager Advisers published on April 1, 2010, in terms of total number of transactions (together with Simpson Thatcher and Miller Thomson; Shin & Kim was ranked no. 6 in terms of total transaction amount). The firm was ranked top both in terms of total number of transactions and total transaction amount in the Asian region. In addition, the firm took third place in the area of M&A advising, based on the total number of transactions.
In recent years, Shin & Kim is the only Korean law firm that has been in the upper ranks of Global Equity IPO Manager Advisers in the Global Legal Adviser League Table published by Bloomberg. The firm took the third spot in terms of total number of transactions last year (no. 6 in terms of transaction amount).
