Mr. BongSeok Choi is an Advisor at Shin & Kim, and provides advisory services primarily in the areas of corporate criminal law, general criminal law, and anti-corruption and internal investigations.

Since being appointed as an Investigator at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in 2004, Mr. Choi has spent approximately 20 years working at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, handling investigations across a wide range of fields. In particular, as a Certified Specialist Investigator designated by the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, he accumulated extensive investigative experience by handling cases involving large corporations, the education sector, the medical industry, and the food industry, among others.

Mr. Choi was also seconded to the Public Service Ethics Office under the Office for Government Policy Coordination (Prime Minister's Office), where he conducted audits of government ministries, and served in the Criminal Intelligence Division of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office and the Investigative Intelligence Department of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, where he was responsible for the collection and analysis of criminal intelligence. Through these roles, he has developed practical experience not only in investigations but also in audits, inspections, and administrative affairs.

Building on this experience, Mr. Choi provides practice-oriented advisory services on a wide range of legal issues relating to corporate criminal matters, internal investigations, anti-corruption, and compliance.
