Il Dong Kim is a partner at Shin & Kim and specializes in domestic criminal justice (response to police investigation, acts of unfair competition and trade secrets, virtual assets, corporate internal investigation (forensic), corporate criminal, general criminal, and criminal trial (court)).

Since graduating from the National Police University in 2006, Mr. Kim has handled a large number of criminal cases at various police stations and teams, such as Seoul Gangnam Police Station, Seoul Yongsan Police Station, Bucheon Ojeong Police Station, and the Special Investigation Team of Korean National Police Agency, and gained extensive experience and expertise as a lawyer at a criminal justice team of a law firm handling various domestic criminal cases, such as corporate internal investigation, response to police and prosecutorial investigation, and criminal trials.

Mr. Kim completed coursework at Seoul National University graduate school, passed the 7th bar exam, and before joining Shin & Kim, handled various criminal cases at another law firm, Yulchon. Recently, he has been requested by the National Police Agency to participate as a judge or interviewer for performance evaluation (special promotions, promotions, etc.), and has also been delegated as a member of the minor crimes deliberation committee at a Police Station.
