Before joining Shin & Kim, Mr. Hyun Il Jin was recognized as the best expert in serious accidents and labor issues within the prosecutors’ office.

While working as a prosecutor researcher at Public Security Division 3 of the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office responsible for labor and industiral accidents, Mr. Jin directed labor and industrial accident cases at nationwide prosecutors’ offices and authored commentaries on labor law issues and commentaries on penalties under the Public Official Election Act. In addition, while serving as the head of Labor Investigation Support Division at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office, he held the position of head of the Task Force on Responding to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and authored commentaries on the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, setting forth sentencing guidelines to articulate the standards for addressing serious accident cases. He demonstrated outstanding competence in labor and election related cases at Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office and Ulsan District Prosecutors’ Office, and was accredited as a certified prosecutor in the area of labor based on recognition for his expertise honed during his service as a designated prosecutor for industrial safety at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office.

Mr. Jin also has excellent lecturing skills. During the years he was serving as a presecutor, Mr. Jin gave lectures to officers at the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Election Commission, and corporations on labor and election case investigation methods and corporate safety management systems.
