Mooni Kim is a senior foreign attorney at Shin & Kim whose main practice areas are Acquisition Finance, Credit Finance, Asset Finance, Project Finance as well as Virtual Asset, Digital Finance.

Mooni advises lenders, sponsors and borrowers in various types of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, ranging from acquisition financing, corporate financing to export-credit agency financing and project financing.

Mooni has extensive experience in advising various stakeholders, including domestic and foreign virtual asset exchanges, in the blockchain and digital asset industry. She is also actively publishing in journals and participating in domestic and international seminars.

Mooni received her B.A. from Seoul National University and J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. As a member of the New York State Bar and the Washington D.C. Bar, she previously worked at DLA Piper LLP (US) and Kim & Chang.
