
Arie Eernisse, a senior associate (foreign attorney) in Shin & Kim’s International Dispute Resolution Practice Group, will participate in a panel discussion at the “IBA Arb40 Workshop: Arbitrator Challenges and Conflicts of Interest” taking place in conjunction with the IBA Annual Conference in Seoul on 22 September. Arie will be discussing concrete conflict scenarios, issues and solutions.
The workshop has been organized by IBA Arb40, a subcommittee of the IBA Arbitration Committee, as part of its contribution to the development of best practices in arbitration and training for younger practitioners.
Arie’s practice focuses exclusively on international disputes. He has acted as counsel and advocated in dozens of cross-border disputes for both Korean and foreign clients. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has been recognized by Legal500 for the past two years as a “Next Generation Lawyer” for international arbitration in Korea.
