Attorneys Byoung-Seon Choe and foreign legal consultants, Philippe Shin and John Choi of Shin & Kim took part in the 17th IAKL (International Association of Korean Lawyers) Annual Conference in Seoul at Sungkyunkwan University between October 22 to 25, 2009.
The conference was well attended with around 300 attorneys and guests including 100 Korean attorneys from the U.S. and 15 other countries in Europe, South America, and Asia as well as 150 attorneys working in Korea, and a forum was held under the theme of ‘The Role of Legal Experts for the Future’, in which Philippe Shin gave a presentation on new developments in anti-trust laws in the U.S. and Korea and overseas trends of legislation in Germany, France, South America and the Middle East, respectively.
