Mr. Taekyoon Kim is a senior foreign attorney at Shin & Kim, whose main practice areas include real estate trading, M&A, private equity investments, and other alternative investments.

Mr. Kim has gained a wealth of experience in real estate trading since the early 2000s when foreign venture and real estate investments in Korea began to take off. He has represented and advised Korean and foreign companies and fund managers on inbound and outbound M&As, joint ventures, venture capital funding, and the establishment of local subsidiaries. Recently, he has been focusing on the advisory service for foreign fund managers’ funding process from Korean sophisticated investors in general. Mr. Kim has also represented Korean and foreign financial institutions and private equity funds and supported them in obtaining approvals, reports, and registration for securities and asset management business with financial regulatory authorities in Korea.
