Mr. Kim has advised on and successfully litigated various cases for major Korean companies across different industries. In particular, he provides comprehensive legal advice by formulating appropriate strategies in shareholder control disputes and M&A disputes and has accumulated experience in winning corporate litigation in various industries, including real estate and insurance.

• Advised and represented companies in management control disputes and hostile M&A transactions, including for construction project operators, IT companies, and securities companies
• Represented the largest shareholder of a major Korean food company in a management control dispute and various other litigation
• Represented an insurer in a KRW 250 billion insurance claim dispute brought by the project operator and the constructor of a large private investment facility project
• Represented the largest shareholder of a KOSDAQ-listed company successfully in litigation brought by a leading Korean private equity fund in connection with the sale of management control of the company
• Advised and represented a Korean trust company and a bank successfully in a dispute with a developer over the trust property
• Represented a former CEO of a KOSDAQ-listed company in a KRW 18 billion unjust enrichment claim brought by the company against the former CEO
• Advised a KOSPI-listed company in connection with a violation of the Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act and represented the company in a claim for damages
• Represented a Korean asset management company in a lawsuit alleging violations of the Capital Markets Act
• Represented a consortium organizer and its employees in multiple civil and criminal proceedings in connection with a major explosion during a national research and development project
• Represented a start-up company in administrative proceedings, including revocation of business expense reimbursement and revocation of exclusion from participation
• Represented Korean hospitals, clinics, and care facilities in administrative proceedings, including the revocation of a business suspension order and the revocation of an order to recover care costs
