Mr. Ho Seuk Jang is currently a partner at Shin & Kim, and his practice focuses on indirect real estate investments through investment vehicles such as collective investment vehicles, real estate investment trusts (REITs) or project financing vehicles (PFVs), real estate development projects and alternative real estate investments such as structured finance.

Since the activation of the Korean indirect investment market in the mid-2000s, Mr. Jang has successfully handled transactions involving alternative real estate investments through indirect investment vehicles such as collective investment vehicles, real estate investment trusts (REITs) or project financing vehicles (PFVs).

Mr. Jang has gained extensive experience and know-how through such transactions involving alternative real estate investments, and based on this experience, he has advised on a number of indirect real estate investments, real estate development projects and alternative real estate investments such as structured finance.

• Advised on the creation/establishment of collective investment vehicles of collective investment companies or asset management companies, the establishment of real estate investment companies, the creation/establishment of other investment vehicles, and the creation/establishment of multiple blind funds
• Advised on the purchase or sale of real estate, including office facilities, large-scale stores, hotels, neighborhood living facilities and other complex facilities of collective investment vehicles, real estate investment companies and other investment vehicles
• Advised on transfer of collective investment securities of collective investment vehicles, shares of real estate investment companies, etc., and other equity transactions
• Advised on real estate development projects through investment vehicles such as project financing vehicles (PFVs), SPCs and other trusts
• Advised on various securitization transactions such as securities and loans backed by real estate, collective investment securities, stocks and other underlying assets
