Jin Tae Park

Mr. Jin Tae Park is an associate at Shin & Kim and a member of the firm’s antitrust practice group. His main practice areas include fair trade, compliance, and regulatory investigations.

Mr. Park graduated from Korea University, obtained a master's degree in law from Sungkyunkwan University's Graduate School of Law, and has been working at Shin & Kim since 2022.

• Represented a Korean telecommunications industry association in a Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) investigation into prohibited conduct by a trade association (case closed)
• Represented Korean food, paper, power equipment, and plastic compound manufacturers in KFTC investigations into illegal cartel conduct
• Represented a Korean construction company in a KFTC investigation into unfair subcontracting practices (client was cleared of charges, case closed)
• Represented Korean automotive parts and IT companies in KFTC investigations into alleged violations of the Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act
• Represented a Korean laundry franchise in a KFTC investigation into alleged violations of the Fair Transactions in Franchise Business Act (case closed)
• Represented a Korean coffee franchise in a KFTC investigation into alleged violations of the Fair Transactions in Franchise Business Act
• Represented Korean OTT and gaming companies in KFTC investigations into alleged violations of the Electronic Commerce Act
• Represented a Korean mobile payment service provider in an administrative action seeking cancellation of a KFTC administrative fine
• Advised other clients on various matters involving unfair trade and support practices, and alleged violations of the Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act and the Electronic Commerce Act

• Represented Hankook Tire & Technology in connection with the global business combination reports related to its acquisition of Hanon Systems
• Represented OCI-Tokuyama in connection with the global business combination reports related to the establishment of a joint venture
• Represented OCI in connection with the global business combination reports related to its acquisition of P&O Chemical
• Represented HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and HD Hyundai Mipo in connection with the global business combination reports related to their merger
• Represented HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering in connection with the global business combination reports related to its acquisition of Doosan Vina
• Represented EQT Private Equity in connection with the business combination report related to its acquisition of Remember & Company
• Represented Jaewon Industrial and Kukdong Oil & Chemicals in connection with the business combination report related to the establishment of a joint venture
