Ms. Hanul Seo is an associate at Shin & Kim LLC who provides her clients with legal services on mattes relating to criminal law and administrative litigation and remedies.

After passing the 9th National Bar Examination in Korea, Ms. Seo worked as a law clerk at the Seoul Southern District Court Criminal Division and the Seoul High Court Civil Division (medical and media), performing duties relating to trials on various cases. Then, she joined Shin & Kim LLC in 2023 and has since been performing duties primarily relating to various disputes arising in the public sector.

Ms. Seo’s practice particularly focuses on cases relating to public sanctions (including those on the revocation of direct production confirmation, restriction on participation in bidding, business suspension and demerit points for poor workmanship or materials), disputes relating to various charges and state-owned property (including those on occupation/use permits and loan agreements), environment-related administrative dispositions (including responses to various orders for investigation and remediation and matters on litigation on the revocation of suspension of business operation due to a failure to satisfy the conditions of permission under the Act on the Integrated Control of Pollutant-Discharging Facilities) and construction-related disputes (including claims for construction cost and claims for performance bond).
